The bake sale was a huge success and the children got their field trip! Some, like Jordan, are overly ecstatic about being at the newly built zoo. She's unable to stop the bubble of excitement and chatters on and on about all the animals she plans to see!
Geeta on the other hand is a tad nervous. She's never been around so many animals. And the sounds of roaring lions, and the cry of birds scare her a bit.
Lola thinks the air smells great. It smells of the "Wild"! Geeta isn't so sure. She thinks it smells of animal dung, and it stinks really bad.
Angel is just excited that Principle Corbin has allowed them to break up into groups, so that they can see more of the animals before it's time to leave.
They all will meet up at the aquarium before heading back to school for the end of the day.
Becca couldn't wait to come to the zoo. But now, actually being here, seeing the animals in cages. She thinks that zoos aren't that great of a place to be, at least not for the animals.
The day comes to a close all to fast, but all the students are excited about the aquarium and all the fish that await them inside.
Becca is amazed at the large tuna. She had no idea that tuna were so huge. And even more amazed that they can get such a large fish into such a tiny can!
Natalie asks their tour guide so many questions. Like, why don't any of the larger fish attack the smaller ones?
He explains that they only use fish that get along with each other in the wild. If they were to eat each other, then they wouldn't have such a lovely aquarium.
Tony doesn't like the sound of that. He was really hoping to see some fish fight!
Geeta is happy that they all get along. Happy fish make her happy! Kira and Jordan think that she's just a tad bit too cheery over the fish.
Tynisha decides to get a picture for the wall of field trips back at school.
Angel ends the trip by pouring laundry soap into the small dolphin fountain at the aquarium. Tynisha is not amused and makes note to have a chat with his mother. They other kids, as well as their tour guide, find the prank amusing.

I didn't want to do the typical update that I do with my elementary kids. I knew if I did, then I wouldn't have much of an update, if any. Plus, I really wanted to play with the zoo I downloaded. I need to get back in and fix a few things, since some didn't make it back over with my reinstalling/downloading of many items.
I think the field trip turned out pretty well. Maybe I'll do it again in the future. We'll see. I do know the kids enjoyed themselves. They really loved the fish! I think it was the highlight of the trip!
The trip looks like fun, the kids also look like they had a good time.
ReplyDeleteI had the same feeling with my last elementary school update; I didn't want to do the same as always, sp I took the kids to the aquarium.
ReplyDeleteThis field trip seems like a lot of fun, the kids seemed to have really enjoyed themselfs :)
Apple, They really did. I didn't do all that I wanted since I was worried that my game would crash. Happily, it didn't!
ReplyDeleteTanja,I know, sometimes those little kids feel like a chore to play. LOL Field trips are always a great distraction! And they really did have a fun time!
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment! You guys are Awesome!
That looked like it was a heap of fun! Becca seems like a budding animal activist. ;) And you downloaded this lot? Did it come with the aquarium or did you add that? It looks like a great lot.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I had a blast with the kiddies. Becca has a soft spot for animals, so you never know what she'll grow up to be. I just love her to death. Such a cutie! Yeah, I downloaded it from InSim I think. It came with the aquarium. I really like the lot! It's huge though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading and commenting. You're Awesome!
Ooh SO fun!! I love that you have a Zoo, I love them in real life. And the aquarium is really cute!! I should check that lot out if I can find it, I was going to make an aquarium, but yours looks so lovely!
ReplyDeleteMaisie, I love the zoo too. I'm buying a family zoo pass for the whole year. It's only $80 and I can't wait! When I was at InSim I typed in Zoo I think, and found it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to read and comment. You're Awesome!
What an adorable update! I love the zoo (SO trying to convince myself that I don't need yet another lot lol). It was a very nice approach to the same kind of post. And I just love Angel's facial expression as he pours that soap lol
ReplyDeleteMizz, Yes, you do need another lot for download (plays devil's advocate)! I couldn't pass up the chance for him to do that. He was eying that fountain for a long time. LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to read and comment. It means a lot to me!
