four and counting?
"So we had to move to a bigger house. Not that I'm complaining, and mom and dad said that it was because we -the children- are growing, and we need more room."

Happy Birthday Winter 2012
There's only one birth this winter, and Jessica Picaso couldn't be happier. She loves all her children, but having to carry them around inside of her for nine months is very tiring. So when labor began she couldn't wait to get it over with.

Happy Little Family
Becca likes her new home. It took a bit of getting use to, you know with new rooms to explore and a nice big front yard to play in. She may be only a toddler but one thing she is super happy about is that her big sisters don't throw her toys around the house when they are in their way. That's the best part about having a new place to live.
Jessica picks up her youngest daughter, making a silly face at her. It causes Becca to laugh. Her mommy is so silly some times. Jessica agrees, it's nice to have a bigger place. It's also a necessity, not only because they were cramped in that tiny two bedroom apartment, but with baby number four on the way, they had no choice but to move.
Lola loves teasing Becca with her toys. She thinks it's hilarious, too bad Becca doesn't agree with her.
By the time Mathew gets home from work and dinner is on the table, Jessica is zapped of all remaining energy. But no one hardly notices since they are to busy scarfing down their meal.
Mathew thinks Jessica is even more attractive when she's pregnant. She has this glow that radiates from with in. Don't get him wrong though, he's always found his wife super attractive, and he has no idea why he had that small transgression with Sharla Ottamas. He's just glad that his wife finally forgave him and took him back.
The girls start out with a nice game of cop and robbers, even Becca tries to get in on the action. She can't wait until she's old enough to play with her sisters.
But the fun times soon turn sour as the girls start to torment each other.
Mathew scolds them, reminding them that their mother is trying to take a nap. He sends them outside to play in the snow.
Lola asks over dinner later that night just where do babies come from? She heard a few of the older kids as school say that babies come from a cabbage patch.
Mathew thinks back to how their soon to be new addition was conceived and decides that it's better that Lola believes in the cabbage patch for a little while longer.
Rose laughs to herself. Being in the 5th grade and internet savvy, she has long since known just how babies are made.

Baby Picaso is due February 2013.
On a side note if I don't respond to the next few updates that's because we are moving. The apartment building that I live in is undergoing renovations. So they have finally come to our apt. and they have decided to move us to a new floor. But instead of giving us at least a few weeks to get packed and moved, they want us out by Sunday. Mind you they just told us on Wednesday. ROFL So hopefully I'll have my cable, phone, and internet back sometime this coming week.

12 Steps
Rose was still very excited about school. She had started the 4th grade and now was considered one of the "upper" class men at Riverdale Elementary. She also liked the newly built school, it still smelled of fresh paint and plaster, and all the the desks, books, chalk boards were all new. And the best part was the new playground equipment. All the children enjoyed recces.
But the topic of conversation that cool Tuesday morning was that fact that one of the kindergartners peed themselves on the playground. Rose didn't find it too funny, but her friends did.
Samantha could relate to the small child. Carrying around an increasingly heavy baby was causing her to run to the bathroom 6 times a day. And that was before noon. She couldn't wait until she had this baby.
About an hour after Rose had left for school Samantha went into labor. The news delivery guy just happened to be placing the news on their door step and heard the moaning coming from inside, he opened the door without thinking and rushed to Samantha's aid.
It wasn't Mathew, but she was glad to have someone with her until the ambulance arrived.
Lola was in her room playing when she heard her mom scream out in pain. It made her curious and she waddled out to see just what was going on.
She had no idea that her mom was about to have a baby, but she knew something wasn't right with mommy. She was in pain. Lola plopped down onto the floor and began to cry.
Samantha returned from the hospital with little Becca. She was beautiful and healthy, getting her parents brown eyes, and her dad's brown hair.
Mathew watched as Samantha put the little one down for her nap. As he surveyed the tiny room he realized that this apartment was just too small for his growing family. Even if this was their last child, they needed the extra room.
He voiced his concerns to Samantha, who agreed. But she reminded him that they didn't have the finance to buy a home, not with owning the grocery store, and Mathew working an extra job to make ends meet.
But they needed to room, and they both decided that they would look into seeing if they qualified for a mortgage to get a house.
With the birth of his third daughter Mathew was over joyed that Samantha finally forgave him for his past transgression. He told her every moment that he got how sorry he truly was, and how much he loved his wife.
Samantha assured him that he was truly forgiven and that she trusted him. But she wasn't being truthful to herself. If she admitted it to herself she really was nervous about her husband, about Sharla and what had happened between them. She was scared to death that he would go back to her, or worse yet, find someone younger, in better shape, with no kids to sleep it.
She just wished that she knew someone she could talk to about the affair. She needed closure with herself and her feelings. She was certain that she would never be able to fully trust her husband again.
Between all the apologizing, Mathew did his best to help around the house. Now that Samantha had her hands full with three little ones, it was the least he could do.
And when he arrived home from the military, he would head down to Shop n' Fresh to put in a few hours there.

Jessica Picaso Winter 08
Can you say "Never saw that coming!" three times fast? Well, I just keep repeating it over and over again. Don't get me wrong I knew that my marriage was a little rocky, but who's isn't? But never in a million years did I think that my husband would cheat on me.
He says he feels bad about it. But I can't help but wonder if he really does. If I had never seen it with my own eyes, and he hadn't been caught would things between them gone further? I don't want to think about that.

It all started last summer when that slut, Sharla Ottamas moved in. Matt's friendship with her started out innocent enough, they played basketball together and she even watched the kids from time to time for us.
Well, you can guess my surprise when I caught him checking her out with me standing right there. Like I wouldn't notice. I slapped him on the arm. He said that he wasn't looking at her, but watching her hoop technique. Yeah, like I bought that.
Then during the end of Fall I was watching him come home from work. Matt didn't see me in the window, and Sharla was out at the mail box. She must have said something to him that was funny because he started to laugh. Then the next thing I knew they were kissing! KISSING!
I put the baby down and flew down the steps screaming at the both of them. I was so upset, I cried myself to sleep that night.

I was still mad days later, so I decided to have a work with the home wrecking hussy.
At first she was taken aback, but quickly responded by trying to insult me and why Matt would find her more attractive. She even pointed out that a make-over now really wouldn't help much, that it was only a matter of time before she had him in her bed.
I saw red then, and before I knew it I had slapped her and the rest well...

Rupert countered saying that why it's better to have a woman with no attachments. Therefore there are no feelings getting hurt, and your free to do what you want with who ever you want. I just stood there in shock. Not only did I just get the snot beat out of me, but my husband was actually have a conversation about cheating with Rupert. Shouldn't he be making sure that I'm alright, not hurt or anything? I don't know what happened to our marriage.
Then, to make matters worse. He goes on to say women are like musical instruments. That's when I decided I had had enough and stormed back to my apartment. I wish the landlord would evict them all.
Shortly after the fight Rose had her 5th birthday. It wasn't anything fancy. I felt bad, but I wasn't in the mood for a celebration. So it was just me and my girls and a yummy cake. Next birthday Rose will have a wonderful party with friends and everything.
After putting the girls to bed I had had enough. Not only did he never apologize about what he did he stood there and discussed it with Rupert. I laid into Mathew, letting all of my anger out. How he betrayed me, his daughters, not caring about anyone but himself. That he lacked self respect, and was a down right jerk.

I had feared the worst since I still wasn't feeling very well, extreme tiredness, swollen limbs. So I went to the doctor and found out that I was pregnant! I was totally shocked. I normally know right away when I'm expecting, morning sickness and the whole 9 yards. But not this time, and I was further along than I normally am when I find out. I hadn't shared the bed with Matt since the affair, so the pregnancy happened before all of this crap. So I'll be finding out if it's true. If babies really do fix what's broken.
