Summer Birthdays 2012




First up is little Alon Sanchez. He is the third addition to Fatima and Mansur's family, but he also holds the honor of being their first son. And his older cousin Donte.






Little Aspen Cotton was an unexpected bundle of joy for her parents Amos and Nita Cotton. But they are thrilled to have her added to their happy home!

Cicero Burrego has just turned four. He's excited because this year he gets to start school. He'll be attending Riverdale Elementary School with his older brother Fyodor.

Geeta Ramaswami is also four this summer and like Cicero she's excited about started preschool!

And last but not least is Tony Kent. He's four too! But he is not ready to start school. He's a bit shy like his mom, so meeting new people is something that is low on his "to do" list.

This is more of a note for me but I'm letting you guys know too. I will post each seasons birthdays at the end of each seasonal play. So you'll know that things are coming to a close when you see these posted!

Family time

September, Fall 2011, Mansur Sanchez is 33, Fatima is 32, Alani is 2.5 and, Salma is 7 months old.

"We haven't been on a vacation in a long time. So I was thinking we should pay a visit to the mountains." Mansur suggested.




Fatima liked the idea. The last trip they took was to the Far East and that was their senior high school class trip. That was years ago. "Yeah, that sounds like a wonderful idea. I could even ask mom and dad to watch the girls for us."




With the vacation booked Fatima called her folks inviting them over for dinner. It's always nice to feed someone before you ask them to watch your kids for a week so you could get away.




Mansur dances with Alani. She loves when her daddy plays with her and her laughter fills the living room.




Everyone is invited over for dinner and Mary tags along. She can't help it, she's in love with her baby nice Salma. She holds her every chance she gets. Mary can't wait until she becomes a mother and has one of her own.




"You need more seasonings on those prawns if you want them to taste good." Taffi says walking out of the kitchen.

Fatima looks at her in surprise. That was the only draw back to having your mother over for dinner. She's always offering or telling you how to cook.




Clearly Antwan feels the same way. Regardless, he'll eat his daughter's cooking no matter what. That's what dads do.




"You need to give me pointers on how to cook without burning it. I don't think Marchon wants to live off take out his while life." Mary says watching her sister cook.

Fatima laughs. "There's no special art to cooking. And you even end up burning a pot of water. There really is no hope."

Mary playfully rolls her eyes. "Thanks for the vote of confidence."





"So how is school going?" Fatima asks.




"Great! I'm having a blast and meeting all sorts of new people. And classes are challenging too! And did I mention the parties? Awesome!"




But college isn't all about parties, Mary. You're there to get life skills that will help you land your dream job." Fatima tells her little sister.




"OMG! Really? I didn't know that." Mary mocks surprise. "Seriously, Fatima, I'm not some old shoe like you. I'm having fun but keeping my grades up. There's nothing wrong with letting your hair down a bit."




Fatima doesn't agree. But clearly Mary is sharing a moment with her dad, she turns and smiles at him.




He smiles back. "College isn't all hard work. I'm sure you had your fun too Fatima. Don't jump down your sister's back for her having her share."




The rest of the extended family soon shows up. And little Alani starts to ask Grandpa Danny for more hard candies. "You ate them all, kiddo." He says.




Yeah, I think he's a bit made at that fact too. He wanted all the candies for himself.





Mary is still hogging Salma all to herself.




And Fatima tells Kristin how she plans to plate some flowers up on the roof top for next summer.

Well there's only two reasons why Fatima would be bent over the toilet. And we know there was no drinking at the party. So their vacation plans are put on hold. Baby Sanchez the third is due June 2012. For Mansur and Fatima being Knowledge sims they sure to try for baby a lot. They tried for all three on their own. After this one Fatima is going on birth control. Now they'll have to move. Their brownstone is too small for three kids and two adults.

Mary wouldn't leave Slama alone. Soon as she was done eating she picked her back up. I think she's getting those motherly urges. LOL Well she has to hold on. There are no babies in her future just yet!

A pound of flesh

She doesn't understand it. For the past few nights her dreams have been filled with Suni Ramaswami. Lilly hasn't seen the girl since the night of the concert, and yet, she still dreams about her. Correction, she has nightmares about her. She's relieved that she will be leaving for university next month. Moving away from all the childish drama back here at home.


Lilly raises her head, allowing the hot water run over her face and down her back. She knows that what she's going to do today is the best decision. Well at least for her. But she stands just a while longer under the spray trying to gather her courage.



And she's glad that she's made this choice. School will be here next month, and to her surprise morning sickness is already starting. Her mom caught her pucking her guts out after dinner last night. She had to lie, tell her that she must be coming down with a stomach flu.

She did try to come clean. She tried to sit her parents down and tell them about the pregnancy, but she couldn't. It was just too hard to do.




She waits as AJ runs down the street. He's late. Not super late, but late enough. It makes Lilly a little pissed off. If she could arrive on time so could he.





"Sorry," he says, trying to catch his breath. He ran two blocks from the bus stop. "My mom wouldn't give me the car."

Lilly arches a brow. "Whatever, at least you've made it."

"You know, we don't have to do this. Can't you just think about it some more?" He pleads.






She's under enough pressure as it is and tries to keep her cool. "We've been over this AJ. This is for the best. I'm too young to be a mother. You're too young to be a father. We are too young. I'm not going to reconsider this." She turns, stomping into the building.



"Everything is in order. I'm just waiting for you." Doctor Snowden says. "And you're both sure about this?"


AJ shrugs. "I don't have much of a choice in the matter."

Lilly throws her hands up in the air. "Bitter much? Hello, this is my life and my body. And you could be more supportive. We can't have a baby!"

AJ sumps back in his chair. He knows that she's right, and honestly, he has no idea why he's fighting this decision so much. They have their whole lives ahead of them. Why mess it up because of one night?


"How will I feel afterwards? I mean emotionally as well as physically?" Lilly asks.








"All women are different. Some cry, some are in shock. But once everything is done, you will have light to moderate cramping. Similar to your normal period. And your monthly should resume as normal next month."

Taffi stands and heads to the door. "When your ready join me in the exam room." She says before leaving.

The two watch her go. "Do you want me in there with you?" Lilly takes AJ's hand giving it a light squeeze. "No, you wait here. I'll be back soon."




Lilly walks down the hall to that last door on the right. She takes a deep breath. She can do this. No, she has to do this. It's the only logical choice. As she pushes the door open and walks through, she realized for the second time this summer that her life will be changed forever.

(notes from GB: How did a decide on Lilly having an abortion. Well, in truth I rolled my dice again, and got miscarriage, but it wouldn't happen until October. But then I was over at the Simology boards and found out that pregnant teens will not transition into YA's on campus while pregnant. So after much though. Because, I could have just aged her up with InSim, but I have no idea if that would break something. So I settled on her having an abortion.

Taking into consideration her aspiration (pleasure sim) and just how I picture her, I figured that the easiest thing for her to do was to have an abortion.

Not to sure how AJ feels about all of this. In my head he didn't want her to do it. So I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.)

Aerial Bionic is coming to town

Late July, Summer 2011, Aerial Bionic has come to town to play a concert on their summer tour.

Lilly Sanchez, AJ Christian and, Mary Snowden are 18, Suni Ramaswami and Cameron Smith are 14, Brooke Sanchez is 13.




Aerial Bionic - one of the hottest bands of SimNation - are on their summer tour. Riverdale is just one Hood on the list of stops.

Trevor and Gareth don't take the stage until sunset. As they start to preform Five Star Stone Love, AJ takes that moment to declare his love for Lilly for the hundredth time that day. She has been very standoffish but she refuses to tell him why.

Gareth meets Mary Snowden and Cameron Smith, giving them his autograph.



After the concert AJ asks Lilly if she's ready to talk to him, to tell him what's going on with her. They both seem to be oblivious to the seething Suni Ramasawni standing beside then. He reaches out, brushing a few strands of Lilly's hair off of her shoulder.



Lilly giggles. "Thanks, sweetie." And it makes Suni's anger bubble over.



Before either of the two realise what's going on, Suni spins Lilly around to face her.

"You really have some nerve Sanchez. It's bad enough you stole him from me, but do you have to push my face in your filth!" Suni grinds out through gritted teeth.



Lilly doesn't get to respond. Suni attacks her, slapping her across the face.



Suni braces herself for the coming blow that she knows is coming, but it never comes. Lilly only turns her back walking away from both Suni and AJ. Fighting tears and they threaten to fall.



AJ glaces at Suni. "That was not cool." He rolls his eyes before turning, headed off after his girlfriend.



Suni is still upset,maybe even angrier than before. First she had to sit through AJ declaring his love for that slut Lilly. Then the holding hands and the brushing of hair off of her shoulder. Plus, she was given the cold shoulder by both of them.

She just couldn't take it, so she snapped. And now, instead of fighting her back the slut runs off crying. Ugh, life sucked! And he didn't even notice her new dress, or how they made her boobs look bigger.



AJ finds Lilly in the small playground in front of the concert stage. He walks over to the monkey bars. "You going to tell me whats wrong? Why you've been acting to distant lately."



Lilly slowly turns around. She knows she had to tell him. She has to come clean. But she's scared of his reaction. Would he blame her? Maybe she has more time. Her eye catches waddling figure off in the distance. It a blonde pregnant woman. Lilly sighs. She can't do that. She can't be that. But she needs to talk with AJ first.



While she's lost in thought he walks up to her and starts to tickle her. Lilly bats AJ's fingers away. "Stop! I'm not in the mood to be tickled." He quickly stops, but looks slightly dejected.



"I don't know how to say this..." Lilly starts but is interrupted.

"We're not breaking up are we? This isn't 'the talk'?" AJ asks, nervous.

Lilly only shakes her head. "No, I'm not breaking up with you, AJ. But this is important." She takes a deep breath then bursts it out. "I'm pregnant."



His mouth hangs open for a second as his brain process what has just been said to him. "Wait, you're what? How did this even happen?"

Lilly sighs. "I'm pregnant. And obviously we weren't careful enough." She says.



"Well, what are you going to do about it? About this?" AJ says pointing to her stomach.



Lilly explodes. "What do you mean, what am I going to do? We both had a part in this, AJ!"



"Yeah but I'm not the one stupid enough to get knocked up!"



Mad and angry, and possibly scared, AJ walks away. Lilly stands there watching him go, tears in her eyes. This wasn't how she pictured this moment ending.



After a few minutes he returns. He reaches to take her hands in his. Lilly tries to pull her hands away but AJ's grip is too strong. "Look at me." He waits until she meets his gaze. "I'm sorry. It was just a lot to take in. I mean, you're pregnant."

Lilly cracks a small smile. "Yeah, I know. And I'm scared." "What are you planning on doing?" He asks. "I'm not sure. I haven't even told my parents yet."

The two stand in the silence of the night, neither sure what to say to the other.

Brooke wonders over. "Are you ready yet? I'm sleepy, I want to go home." She whines.

Lilly rolls her eyes. "I better get going." "I'm not my dad. I'll be here for you, no matter what you decide." AJ says before letting her go.


Lilly and Brooke head for the car. "What was that all about?" Brooke asks.

"Nothing. Let's get you home."

(notes from GB: So the Suni Lilly smack down 2011, was totally on their own. Well, I should say Suni's own. Lilly wasn't in the mood to fight. I was surprised, but I guess she has a lot on her mind right now. And fighting Suni isn't one of them.

This was going to include Lilly decision too but once I finished this up I realized that it didn't fit. So that will be saved for another update.

The concert turned out nice. I forgot to do that maxlot cheat so only so many sims showed up, I tp'ed in a few more, but no more showed up on their own after that.)
