So I'm finally settled in my new place, and getting to know my neighbors. Needless to say I was a bit surprised to find that Richard Smith was one of them. WE didn't really get along in college because of Nora, but now, we actually do!

"I can honestly say that this summer break I was looking forward to one hundred percent. Not just with the goings on with Justin and Ginger. That's a mess contained within itself, and I'm just glad to be done with it.

There's this friend

April, Spring 2012, Peng T'ang is 36, Li-Fen is 34 and, Ruling and Roulan are 7. Last updated winter 2009. (Justin Kim is 31)

Narrated by Le-Fen T'ang

I've been thinking a lot about my marriage recently. Peng and I have been married for quit a while now. We have three wonderful children together. But I can't help to think that something is missing.

He's very attentive. He's always home for dinner and spends quality time with the girls.

And he makes sure that all my needs are met as well. But everything is all planned out. Nothing is ever spontaneous. Even our summer vacation back home was in the works for three years. He's so controlled and organized. Nothing is ever passion-filled. Nothing is spontaneous.

And then he bring him home. We are friends. I met Justin when he first started working at the high school. We get along wonderfully and he is everything that Peng isn't. And it's thrilling, it electrifying. It's everything that I want in a man. And before, he was with someone. He wasn't a problem. But now...

Peng retires early and everything happened so fast. One moment Justin was making a joke. Another moment I was laughing. Then our lips were touching. And it was everything I knew it would be. It was as if I were woken from the waking sleep I have been in for so long. I've been going through the motions but Justin came and woken me up.

Neither of us were sure what to say next. He could feel the sparks as well.

"I...I'm sorry." He said.

I only nodded.

I was silent, not because I was upset by what we had just done, but because I wanted to do it again. But Peng and the girls were right upstairs. Justin muttered "good night," and hurried to the door, letting himself out.

I stood in the game room, my lips still tingly from the kiss. My toes felt as if they were barley touching the ground. I had always thought I was in love with T'ang, but now I'm not so sure. I think I'm actually in love with Justin. And instead of being shocked at this revelation I am relieved. I'm actually in love. But what do I do now?

***
notes from GB: Okay I knew this was coming for a while now. Le-Fen and Justin have been friends every since he graduated college and started working as a teacher. She would always come home with him and even when he was with Shelby they would flirt. They have been crushing on each other for a looooong time. So this kiss was a long time coming.
So now they are in love. He was in love with Shelby too, and I think that's why things never went further than just flirting and tickling before. But Le-Fen, she's not in love with Peng. She has a crush on him and they only have one bolt for each other. She never rolls wants for him, though he rolls wants for her all the time.
Now she and Justin have three bolts for each other. I'm so up in the air. I have no idea how this is going to work out. If they do divorce with will be Riverdale's first divorce in a really long time. The first one was between Edward Sr. and Jamie Lopez when she was pregnant with AJ. So that was a long time ago. Almost 20 years ago. I think I have way too many happy marriages right now. LOL Not realistic at all.

Peas of a pod?

December, Winter 2009, Peng T'ang is 34, Li-Fen is 32, Ye is 15 and, Ruling and Roulan are 5

Even though Ruling and her twin are only 5, she is set in her ways. She's always the first one up if it's the weekday or the weekend. She also can't leave her bed unmade. I think it's safe to say that little Ruling is a little super cleaner. Everything has to be just right or her little world isn't perfect.

Roulan on the other hand is the complete opposite. Well, not complete, since she likes to clean as well, but not as much as her sister. She doesn't enjoy school as much, hates homework, and rather spend her time blowing bubbles or watching the clouds pass over her head.

One could say she is a free spirit, following a beat to her own drum. She likes to take things nice and slow.

When Ruling isn't cleaning or studying (which she does a lot) she gets a kick out of tormenting her sister.

Which she hates greatly. She swats at her to leave her alone.

But Ruling will not give up. Roulan calls for their father who only tells her to "handle it,". Causing the girl to roll her eyes. How is she supposed to handle it when her sister refuses to leave her alone?

By turning the tables on Ruling!

"Grrr! Arg!"

Ruling clutched her chest. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"Good!" Roulan cackled, "Maybe next time you'll leave me alone!."

But the twins do get along most of the time and enjoy eating breakfast with their older brother Ye.

But Ye has other things on his mind than his little sisters and their taste in shoes. He's in love, with his best friend. And to make it worse, she doesn't even know it. (Sorry about him being blue. He froze in the snow and his skin didn't return to normal, and I can't fix it.)

So he calls her up and invites her to Slippy's Ice rink to do a bit of skating.

He decides to start without her, and it turns out not to be such a bright idea. His poor bum. He'll be feeling that come morning.

Trying to save himself from more embarrassment her exits the rink and spots the object of his affection. Cameron Smith. He loves her so much. He wishes he could take her in his arms and kiss her. But that would be bad. She doesn't even know how he truly feels about her.
He's though about telling her, but with the recent death of her sister he doesn't think it's the best of ideas.
So instead he enjoys her company at his house having snowball fights in the cold, and playing video games in the hot summer.
But he wouldn't trade it for the world. As long as Cameron was willing to be around him, Ye was the happiest teen on the planet.
And Ye will come up with any excuse just to touch Cameron.
It doesn't get any easier watching her leave at night to return home. Oh, how he wishes he could confess his love.
He does how ever tell Roulan how much he loves a girl with chestnut colored hair, and beautiful almond eyes. And the deepest chocolate eyes one could drown in.
"Why can't you just tell her how you feel?" she asks. This whole not sharing of feelings is something unfamiliar to Roulan. But she was still in the phase that boys gave you cooties.

"If you tell her that you love her you can have babies!" Roulan blurts out excitedly.

The mention of love and babies catches Ye off guard and he he tries quickly to explain to his little sister that though he is in love with a girl, that doesn't mean they will have babies.

He starts to blush at the thought. Yes, he loves Cameron, but the thought never crossed his mind about really being with her. He's way to young to be thinking about that. And though his sister is only 5, and just exploring where babies come from. He needs to have a talk with his dad about Roulan watching Discovery channel alone.

Li-Fen T'ang Simdays 36 - 40

I'm Li-Fen T'ang and I'm married to Peng, we immigrated to Riverdale around two cycles ago. It's a lovely hood and I'm glad we decided to move here and start roots. I'm currently a school yard supervisor at Riverdale School of Excellence right now, but I'm training to become a teacher. It's currently fall and I love this time of year. It's not to hot but not to cold either and I take advantage of this by walking to work. We don't live that far away from the school, only two blocks. And ever since the AL deal was signed, I can actually walk to work now, lol.

We have one son, Ye, who is seven and in the first grade and as you can see from the picture I'm expecting another one soon. I'm hoping that it will be a girl. Then are family will be complete.

I told Peng that I wanted to visit our homeland soon if we are able to afford it. He agreed, wanting Ye to see where his family comes from.

I'm huge! Peng jokes that I'm going to have twins. I don't think so. We live in a two bed room apartment, we cannot have twins. We have just enough room for one crib and hopefully the changing table can fit in our bed room. Twins I think not!

It never fails. Soon as I finished cleaning up the kitchen and putting dinner away, I washed my face, read Ye to sleep the climbed into bed. That's when it happened, I went into labor. And oh joy, our neighbors rushed over to watch. Like I need an audience for this! But my honey bear was right. We had twins! At least I got my daughter, times two, lol. Now we really have to move. I'll start looking in the paper for a good house first thing in the morning. Good thing we've been saving up the money that we have.
