Small Update

I'm still around, crying on Twitter, and frantically downloading like a mad woman. I'm also building. With a little pushing by my fellow simmers, I have decided to start to play once again. I was going to hold off until I had 90% of Riverdale rebuilt, but it's not going to work. I need to play, it's eating at me, and I think I'm burnt out right now on building. So I hope to have some posts ready soon. So just hang in there, and I'll have something for you soon!

  2. Yay! Building is fun at first, but gets old quickly imo. So glad to hear that I can start reading about Riverdale again soon :)

  3. Post some pictures! :D I'd like to see what you've been building lately, and snap shots.

I read that you are using the same hood map, do you love it? Maybe if you used a different terrain it would feel better. Instead of missing the old one, and the old buildings. A whole new fresh start, plus really easy to do with lots already down etc.

  4. Flit, It's good to know what you'll be playing too! Time for us to jump back in, get our feet wet!

Mizz, I had no idea building took so much out of you! But I fired up the game, and actually built another house. LOL But the family that I need to play needed a house, I hadn't built it yet. So it was okay.

Maisie, I'll have to snap some pics then post!

I actually tried a new map. I went to MTS and found two really good ones that I fell in love it. But after placing both of them I just didn't "feel" it. Neither was Riverdale. So after deleting them I placed the old map back in. But like you said earier, I think I'm just burnt out from building. Baby steps. That's what I'm going to do!

  5. I hope you had a ton of fun actually playing! It's so easy to get burnt out on building and decorating - I know I do!

  6. Carla, Would you believe that I actually spent time building? Then I played for 15 minutes then I had to lay down, since I'm still a bit sick. I'm going to play though this time!
