Narrated by Tosha
Time has really flown by. The boys are already in kindergarten. They didn't make the birthday deadline to start pre-k, so them starting school last month has truly hit me hard. And soon, Donika will be joining them. It seems as if they grow up so fast. I don't want to miss a thing with any of them.
And Xander is so busy at work. He quite his research job at the science lab at the hospital, because it was taking up so much of his time. He is now working as a C.S.I., but that too seems to consume so much of his time. I worry that he will miss out on many of the children's major life events.
But even with his heavy workload, and the kids taking much of my free time, I try to put some aside for my sister. WE hardly get to see each other now that I'm no longer working at her boutique. We make plans to try and start a play date not only for us, but also our little ones.
Then there's Mister Tinkles. I have no idea what's gotten into him! He's never tried to eat our food before. But now, he tries every chance he gets. But I think I understand why he's acting out. With the boys starting school, and taking a lot of my time with studying, not to mention, teaching Donika to walk. He hasn't gotten the attention that he's used to.
But I can't endorse his behavior, or ignore it either. I don't like to discipline him, but he has to learn his place. No one likes cat fur in the meal.
Once the twins get further into the year things will slow down, and they will make time for Mister Tinkles once again.
Donika has a new cuddly friend, a fuzzy frog that her dad gave her. She refuses to put it down, not even to cuddle with Mister Tinkles.
Though Bryce is super shy he's managed to make a new friend. She's a few years older than him, and I worry about the kind of influence she'll have over him. Maybe I'll encourage him to make friends closer to his own age.
I'm just as worried about Tito and the influences he's getting at school too! He just up and decided to nail Bryce in the face with some pasta over dinner.
The poor boy was so taken aback, he wasn't sure how to react.
But in the end he was not pleased. In fact, he was livid! He refused to talk to his brother for the rest of the night.
Tito got a good chewing out from his father too. I'm pretty sure that he will not try that food throwing stunt ever again. That is not acceptable behavior.
Xander has been working hard like he always has. And contrary to popular belief, he enjoys working. He has always worked hard even though he is a trust fund baby, his father and mother, ensured in him the ethics of hard work. And we enjoy the fruits of his labors. Like his most recent promotion to CSI level 3. Basically, he's the head supervisor of the lab!
He called a sitter and took me out for a celebration. It was great! We played a few games.
Drank a few drinks.
And just enjoyed each others company! Something that we haven't done is a very long time. Xander promised to do this more often, and I'm looking forward to it.
But until then, he's back to the rat race, and I'm back to being super mom.
I think this pic will make more sense once you read the Traveller update that will be posted soon. I actually played Trisha and Trant, and Sofia before I played the Snapple house. I find it fitting that she would come home with Brcye though. LOL
Warning, Donika spam!
Seriously, just how cute is she? OMG! I love her!
I can't wait to see how she and who she looks like as she gets older!
And Mr. Tinkles as never eaten sim food before. So this is new! Tosha has never trained him not to eat food, but there was never a need to. But I look at his acting out is due to lack of attention from everyone at home.
I never have anything juicy to update this house with. They are so cookie cutter it makes me sick. LOL Maybe things will change once the boys hit their teen years. But at least I had something to update with this time around.
