It's so exciting finally starting high school. Though it's going to take some getting used to rising before the sun is up to attend school. But that's a moot point, I'm just glad to be here!
And its neat seeing other kids reconnect after a summer apart. Besides my sister, I don't have many kids that I've missed from over the summer. If I do have them then they are still suck back at my old school.
Then there are some who down right scare me. Glaring at each other like they want to rip their heads off. Can't help but to wonder what happened with them!
Being the new kids on the block, and the youngest and in the lowest grade, I have to wonder if I've made an impression on any of the upper class men yet? Since there is a guy I have my eye on already!
After a quick welcome to high school assembly by my dad for all of us seventh graders we were tossed into our official first day of classes. First period was shop class. Not something I'm very good at, but I've never done it before. Wasn't sure I would even enjoy it. But so far so good!
Adrien Chew on the other hand hates the class. She even yelled out that she doesn't see the connection between knowing how to build stuff and living in the real world. Plus, it would totally ruin her manicure. I had to suppress my eye roll. I knew that she was a bit stuck up but she's seem to have gotten worse now that we are older.
Ruiling is enjoying shop class. She's kind of a brain, and knowing how thinks are put together, and making them work is right up her alley.
Dallas Johnson, who is a grade above us, finished first. I guess it would make sense that he finished before us, seeing he's had a year longer of practice. But he also only made a brick and slapped a face on it.
I was able to finish as well. Not something to write home about, and it's clear that I won't be producing toys for kids anytime soon. My little robot started shooting out sparks soon as I tried to turn it on.
I can't wait for science class. The room is directly across the hall from shop class. I hope we get to do some interesting experiments this year! Just as long as I don't have to dissect anything like frogs. Gross!
I'm not to keen on art class. Maybe the painting, but clay, not so much. I'm not a huge image freak like Adrien. But I honestly have imagine having to dig all that clay out of my nails at the end of the day. Just thinking about it makes my head hurt.
Ruiling didn't sit with me at lunch, instead she chose to sit with her new friend, Anan Reed. Not that I care since i have some classmates that I want to catch up with. I'm glad to see her branching out and making friends!
My attention was soon drawn to Anan and Kobi. They got into a little heated match.
I asked Breda what was the argument about. Come to find out the two of them dated for a while and broke up over the summer. It's clear that Kobi did the dumping and Anan is not happy about it.
And no matter how many times he apologizes, she doesn't want to hear it.
Which is awesome news for me! I may only be 12, and he's like 15, but I can hope. I think he's really cute and I could see us together. The longer his single the greater chance I have.
And talk about a boy magnet, there's Bri Shanhan. She's a senior this year, and not interested in any of the boys here. Her boyfriend is a college guy. This super intimidating to me. I couldn't imagine dating someone who was in college. But it makes her seem so grown up as well.
The last class of the day was Home Economics. I really wanted to work on flower arranging, because I love flowers and I enjoy making them pretty for others. But Adrien made sure that she was the first into the classroom, and quickly snatched up on of the benches, the other was taken by another student.
Which left me stuck with sewing. I have never done this before, but I was surprised to find that I actually liked it.
Dallas on the other hand complained about sewing all class. He doesn't understand why guys have to take home economics in the first place. Sewing and flower arranging our for girls.
I roll my eyes trying to look offended, but he really is funny. And deep down I think he enjoys sewing too.
At the end of the day Ruiling makes plans with Anan to meet up after school.
And to my surprise, and utter excitement, Kobi approaches me telling me that as a upper class man it's his job to help the news kids. I smile, because even I know that's total crap. But I'm just happy he's noticed me. He lets me know that if I need anything to let him know.
All in all, this looks to be a start to a wonderful year at my new school!

So, since my high school population is growing and so is my elementary. My gosh, my elementary school is so populated it's getting harder and harder to play it. But this leads to a new rotation for my school year. I will update the high school once and the elementary once. I don't want to give a set season, like Fall for high school and Spring for elementary, since I'm going to base the update on how I play both school, and what story develops at each location.
Roulang and Ruiling had a wonderful introduction to high school. I'm glad they are off to a good start. And Poor Roulang, her hormones are running away with her. She has the hots for Kobi and Dallas. So we'll see what happens. And Kobi seems to have a little crush on her as well.
At least it was less dramatic than before :)
ReplyDeleteApple, LOL Yes, very true. And so far the majority of my teens are all getting along!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to read and comment!
I saw this update when it went up and thought I commented on it but apparently, I never even read it, LOL. Oops!
ReplyDeleteDallas should watch his fingers there, because it looks the needle is about to run right over them!
And oh wow, Roulang doesn't waste any time, does she? I don't know if she wants to get into anything with Kobi. I would hate to be in Anan's line of fire!
Carla, I do that a lot as well! lol
ReplyDeleteRoulang didn't waste any time at all! Soon as she hit the lot she was swooning over Kobi. And he was doing the same for her. I don't think Anan liked that at all!
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment!
