Tazikati Smith - Simdays 36 - 40

The candy shop is doing really well. I am very pleased. When I started this venture I never thought I would do so well. I have actually made back what I paid for the lot and the shelving placed inside. I recently realized that I needed a extra set of hands during the day, and decided to ask Annabell if she would help out.

She accepted since she had just graduated college and was looking for work. So after agreeing to a reliable wage she started. It's nice working with her, and I will miss her when she leaves to work in her desired career, but for now it's just mother and daughter.

Meet Polly. We decided to get a bird, we already have a dog, Cotton, but felt that the bird would be a nice addition to the family pets.

Every one's enjoying little Polly. We are even teaching him to talking. So far, so good!

Someone forgot to close the the door to his cage. Oh, it was me. lol Sorry, I'll remember next time.

I have no idea what happened. After catching Polly and putting him back in his cage everyone went to bed. The next morning went as all mornings in our house goes, we eat breakfast then everyone gets ready for work and school. Polly at his normal bird seed, but once finished he just dropped dead. Literally, he fell over and hit the bottom of his cage. Everyone couldn't believe it.

Cameron is taking it the hardest. Poor dear. She really like Polly. Maybe we'll get another bird.

I decided to read her to sleep after Polly's passing. We both enjoyed the extra time together.

It seems as if Cameron got over Polly quick, her focus in now on an older guy? What the heck! I think she's a bi to young to be worrying about crushes, besides, he's married!

"I want to be an astronaut!" Cameron informs us at dinner one night. She would like to be the first sim on the moon. But I think that distinction already belongs to another sim I tell her. Then she decides that she still wants to be an astronaut so that she can explore far off galaxies.

For some strange reason my husband, Liam, thinks this is a wonderful idea. Don't encourage her on fantasies!

And her little friend Mary Snowden, shares the same idea. They both want to be astronauts and explore space. I told them that for now they'd have to settle with exploring the font and back yards. They are up for the challenge, lol.

My little sister can be quite annoying at times. And I find myself thinking this is possibly payback for me being the same way to my older sister Annabell. But when I think back, I'd have to say it's well worth the trouble I'm getting from Cameron now!

But sometimes she's a bit to annoying. Like the other night, we were sitting down to dinner when she whispers to me, "I know what you and Trisha did!"

I shrugged her off and continued to eat. That's when she got the spoiled brat look on her face, you know the look; narrow slits for eyes, lips puckered in a sour way, and that all to pesky smirk.

"I read your journal. I know everything!" Sneaky little... she went through my room again to find said journal.

"Unless you want me to tell mom or dad you better buy me a Nintendo DS."

I put my fork down. "You wouldn't" She didn't reply she only smiled.

The next day at lunch (did I mention just how much I hate weekends? I'm suck at home with Carmon) she asked me if I had given any thought to her proposition. More like blackmail if you ask me. I shook my head no. I tell ya, I had no idea my little sister had such a potty mouth. Who in the world does she hang out with at school?

Tina and I decided to go hang in the local cemetery, see if we could see any ghosts. We waited and waited, but nothing happened. We got bored and ended up making out...

Maybe I need to wait until there are more dead sims in here before ghost hunting. There's only two so far, one just happens to by my grandmother.

"How was ghost hunting," Cameron asked as dinner. I told her that it was fine, and that she should mind her business. Guess that was the wrong thing to say.
"What? You and Tina didn't get a chance to make out?"
I ever so gently kicked her leg under the table. She only glared at me then finished her meal. I'm starting to think I might just have to buy her that stupid game to shut her up. There goes my allowance for three weeks.
After the brat left the table my dad had a few choice worlds for me. He wanted to make sure that I didn't get in over my head with Tina, and that we took things slow. Kissing was fine but that was all.

Yeah, Cameron will be happy. One Nintendo DS coming up!

Li-Fen T'ang Simdays 36 - 40

I'm Li-Fen T'ang and I'm married to Peng, we immigrated to Riverdale around two cycles ago. It's a lovely hood and I'm glad we decided to move here and start roots. I'm currently a school yard supervisor at Riverdale School of Excellence right now, but I'm training to become a teacher. It's currently fall and I love this time of year. It's not to hot but not to cold either and I take advantage of this by walking to work. We don't live that far away from the school, only two blocks. And ever since the AL deal was signed, I can actually walk to work now, lol.

We have one son, Ye, who is seven and in the first grade and as you can see from the picture I'm expecting another one soon. I'm hoping that it will be a girl. Then are family will be complete.

I told Peng that I wanted to visit our homeland soon if we are able to afford it. He agreed, wanting Ye to see where his family comes from.

I'm huge! Peng jokes that I'm going to have twins. I don't think so. We live in a two bed room apartment, we cannot have twins. We have just enough room for one crib and hopefully the changing table can fit in our bed room. Twins I think not!

It never fails. Soon as I finished cleaning up the kitchen and putting dinner away, I washed my face, read Ye to sleep the climbed into bed. That's when it happened, I went into labor. And oh joy, our neighbors rushed over to watch. Like I need an audience for this! But my honey bear was right. We had twins! At least I got my daughter, times two, lol. Now we really have to move. I'll start looking in the paper for a good house first thing in the morning. Good thing we've been saving up the money that we have.

Nita Rich Sim Days 36 - 40

So I finally made it to Riverdale. I was supposed to have immigrated here a few cycles ago, but do to some misplaced paper work I finally arrived. I guess it's better late than never, right? So upon arriving here I went over to the Negely North and South apartments. I settled on the South addition, and quickly signed for my new place. I'm so excited. I can't wait to see what life has for me here in this lovely hood.

After getting settled in I went to bed. It was a bit strange sleeping in a new place and I had to get used to all the new sounds. But there weren't that many. Since this is a new building nothing was popping or settling, just the sounds of neighbors going to the trash bin, a dog barking in the night, and some one's television playing late into the night.

I woke the next morning feeling refreshed. I started breakfast then decided to play on my new couch. Shoot, this thing cost be almost half of my savings, so a little jumping on it won't hurt.

I was having so much fun that I forgot about my food, and before I knew it the smoke alarm was buzzing. I had to run outside in my night clothes, how embarrassing.

After getting a lecture from a very hunky fire fighter I went back inside took a a bubble bath then sat down to watch a bit of TV. There really wasn't anything on. So, I decided to do a bit of exploring of my new hood.

First stop was a little electronics shop on main street. I went inside since I wanted to get a cell phone. Not that I have anyone to give my number too, but I still wanted one all the same.

That's when I met Amos Cotton. The first thing that I noticed about him were is eyes. Very intense and very pretty... handsome. I don't think men like to have their eyes called pretty, lol. Hes very handsome as well. We started talking, and I found out that Amos enjoys art, so do I. I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship!

I asked Amos where was a good place to eat, he told about Smokey's Ribs. It was out of my way, since it was downtown, but I was out exploring, so Smokey's here I come!

I ended up at the restaurant 20 minutes later. It was a nice place, and it smelled Devin from outside, I couldn't wait to try some food. That's where I met Anaya Kent. And to my surprise she was into cuisine too. So already I made two friends. Now all I need to do is find a job and I'll be set!

Did the job searching thing and found nothing. *sigh* Will I ever find a job? I hope so. I need to start bringing in some cash, and fast. After playing my first weeks rent and buying furniture for the apartment, that took a large chunk of change. Not to mention getting the cell phone and eating out. But I'm not broke just yet, I still have some money left over.

So I decided to clean the bathroom before it got really dirty when my phone rang. It was Amos (yay!) And he was calling to invite me out with him and his brother. Of course I jumped at the invitation. A night on the town would do me some good, and take my mind off of my money situation.

We went to a new night club, "Be Real." It was nice, there's dancing, drinking, and games. I had a few drinks and danced with Amos and his brother, Rupert. Though, Amos warned me about his brother. But he doesn't have to worry, I'm not interested in Rupert.

By the end of the night I ended up on the top floor at a table of cards. I even met one of the hood council, Danny Sanchez. He seems really nice, even after I took his money, lol. I had no idea I was so good at cards. So all in all I'm enjoying being in Riverdale.

Jessica Picaso Sim Days 36 - 40

Things have been going well since we moved to Riverdale. We where able to open up the first grocery store and it's making money. The downside though, after the AL deal was signed we had to move out of our lovely town home because it didn't fit into the redesign the hood went under. So we were give $5,000 and had to pack up and move out. That money helped out since our new place is $1,020 a month. So after getting all settled in the next morning after breakfast I rushed to the bathroom. I think I might be expecting baby number two! Maybe a little sister for Rose.

Once Mathew returned home from work, he's in the military, well, we both are but I've been on maternity leave. I told him that I thought that I was pregnant. At first he stared at me as if I grew a second head. After a few moments of silence he finally replied. "A baby huh?" I shook my head in response. That's when he smiled and grabbed my hand, reassuring me that he was happy. That this was good news. I just hope it is.

I was so tired, taking care of a baby and expecting another is hard work! But someone has to do it, most of the time it's the mom, lol. So, anyhow, I was making dinner and got distracted. I don't normally leave my pot as I cook but I needed to start on the salad. Well, I forgot about the food and the pot caught fire. I was so scared, I ran out of the kitchen, Mathew had Rose and was right behind me. The fire department showed up very quickly and we were back inside in no time. Note to self, never walk away from cooking food again!

I have no idea why Rose smells so bad. I mean, I give her breast milk. I express it to bottles and I try to eat as healthy as possible, yet when she goes to the bathroom flies appeared around her bum. Why??? Does she really smell that bad to attract files?

Well my pregnancy is progressing as normal. I'm still very tired and so low on fun it's not even funny. But I kept on going. I'm just happy the baby is due soon. I can tell. My comfort keeps dropping no matter what I do, and I have to pee all the time. This happened with Rose as well. So maybe this evening or early morning the new baby will be here!

The idea is making me happy since I've noticed that Mathews interest in me is swaying. He's spending most of his fee time either playing basketball down stairs with our neighbors Rupert and Amos Cotton or he's on the phone with some woman named Nita Rich. It's making me worry. Was having this baby a serious problem? It wasn't as if I was trying to get pregnant again, it just happened.

So I'm trying all that I can to keep the romance alive between us. Maybe after I have the baby we can have a night out for the both of us. Get a baby sitter for Rose and the new one. Yes, I think I'll do that. I don't want another woman taking y husband's interest away from me. I'll fight for my man. Then again, I could just be over reacting. Hormones and everything.

After dinner Rose turned into a toddler. I felt so bad. I'm so tired I forgot about her birthday. I didn't even have a cake for her But I don't think she minded, she's still very young. Next birthday I promise will be better. There will be cake, presents, and a small party (I hope!)

You really can't predict these things. I didn't got into labor until 2 am. Mathew hopped out of bed compiling that this was the worst time for this to happen. Yeah, like I can decided when to give birth. If that were the case he would be having the baby not me.

Welcome little Lola Picaso. Mathew was very pleased, he even took her and feed her her first bottle. After laying Lola down, he came into our room and apologized for getting upset about me going into labor. Now that I've given birth it's time to focus on rebuilding my marriage.
