Sweeter Than Candy

June, Summer 2013, Mansur Sanchez is 35, Fatima is 34, Alani is about to turn 4, Salma is 3 and, Alon is 1. (Taffy Snowden is 58.5 and Antwon is 59.5.) Last update.
Narrated by Fatima.

"We've moved and settled into our new house. It's much larger than the last and right across the street from the hospital, and around the corner from our old place.

The kids have settled in as well. You can tell by the loud cries coming from the kitchen every morning when Salma is demanding to be feed."

Photobucket

"As soon as I get her squared away, Alani starts with her whining. She likes to be fed first since she's the oldest."

Photobucket

"Alon will be reaching a milestone this year like Alani. She's be starting pre-k come the fall, and he will be turning one very soon. Time really does fly. I can remember when I found out I was expecting Alani, and now, Alon will be starting to walk soon."

Photobucket

"But even with my days full of chasing around two very active toddlers and one loud and screaming baby, I still find time to hang out with my best friend, Zayilla. She has her hands full as well, with twins and a teenager, but we do make the time. We've been friends since high school and we're not going to let our friendship die out because we grew up and started families."

Photobucket

"Mansur and I make sure to make time for ourselves as well. We're not looking to add to our family. Three children are enough, but we still do love each other very much!"

Photobucket

"The children play together nicely most of the time. With so many horror stories I hear I'm so glad mine get along. But they are still young, who knows how their relationships are going to be when they get older."

Photobucket

"They do have their moments. Like the time Alani had an accident and Alon thought it was funny. He pointed and laughed, calling his older sister a stinky bum bum. She did not like that and refused to play with him for an hour."

Photobucket

"And Salma. The girl is determined to make my life as hard as possible. She's taken to going to the bathroom in her pull ups. She'll sit in front of the potty then go to the bathroom on herself. I have no idea what her problem is!"

Photobucket

"But I do my best to spend as much time as possible with them all. Once they all start school I plan on getting a job again. I spent all those years in college, might as well use they degree I got!"

Photobucket

"My parents drop by often. So does Mansur's. We also have them on weekend rotation to watch the kids so we can get some quality time alone with each other."

Photobucket

"My mom always asks Mansur what he has planned for us in advance. He only smiles, telling her that it's a surprise and he doesn't want her to ruin it for me. Because she'll blab and tell me where my honey is taking me."

Photobucket

"If Salma gets her way she will have my father's attention the whole night."

Photobucket

"Alani isn't picky, she loves bother nana and grandpa."

Photobucket

"But she always throws a fit when we leave. She'll sit on the porch and cry for 15 minutes! I feel bad, but I need time for myself!"

Photobucket

"We got to a night club neither of us have been too. I can't remember the name and we are surprised to see Kristin, Mansur's mom here. She doesn't even notice us and continues on her way."

Photobucket

"We sit to have a few drinks. Not to many since Mansur is driving. But he can't help but to wonder what his mother is doing out without his dad."

Photobucket

"We head upstairs to play few rounds of cards, and low and behold we find her sitting at a table playing."

Photobucket
"We laugh as Mansur deals the deck. We never knew his mom like cards. It was a nice night out and we'll head home soon so my parents can get back to my little brother. But it's always nice to have a little time to ourselves."

Mansur and Fatima are so boring. LOL I mean I have fun playing their house but nothing really happened. Which I guess is a good thing. It's a refreshing breath of air to play a drama free family for a little bit.

I build their house from a floorplan I found online. I really like and I placed three side by side. Right now Emma, Wylon, and Lars are their neighbors since they had to move with the new baby on the way.

  1. Oh my gosh, that first pic of Salma is SO CUTE! The one of Alon laughing at Alani is adorable too. Stinky bum bum!

Three toddlers though! I'm impressed that Fatima still makes time for herself amongst all that chaos!

Maybe they're not the most drama-filled family but they're definitely so sweet!

  2. I agree, they are a sweet couple. Enjoy the boring moments-the Wilsonoff family was my boring family and now they have their hands full with Ana Rayne.

I forgot that Zayilla had been in Riverdale so long...wow, it's been a long time since they escaped with their lives.

The graphics look amazing and Fatima's back tattoo is cute. Does she know what career she will want to join?

  3. Carla, I actually like these skin tones, each of the kids all look different but you can see their parents in them!

In truth, I'm more drained playing their house than Fatima. LOL Those kids tire me out, but Fatima still makes time to get showered and dressed every day as well as the kids fed, bathed, and dressed as well all before her hubby gets home from work. She really is a super woman.

I've come to love their non drama. It's a nice break from families that are driving nuts with all their problems.

Apple Valley, I hope they don't turn to drama. LOL Then I wouldn't be happy.

I look back at Zayllia's pics of when she was little and first arrived in Riverdale, and it seems so long ago. Now she's a mother of three and enjoying her life. It's been so long since she left Apple Valley, but she was so young. Zac on the other hand still remembers everything!

Thanks! Her tat, you're not supposed to see it. It doesn't exist. LOL The skin tone that I use dfor them has a tat for all ages all sex except infents. I hate it but I didn't realize it until after I started playing the family when Fatima was a toddler.

  4. I have to agree, your pics are looking really good!

Taffi looks good in her new hairdo and glasses! She let her hair grow out! LOL!

I am tired just watching these 3 babies on your blog! LOL! That little Salma, I could just eat her up...all 3 of them are extremely adorable.

Their new house is fabulous and large. The kitchen looks so large and spacy. I love the big windows in there!

  5. Simmington, I have no idea what I've done different to make the pics look better. These were taken before I got my new video card, so I have no idea. But I'm glad you all have noticed a difference. I'll try to remember to make note when I start using pics with the new card, then you can tell me if you still see a difference.

I'm going to send you like a bajillon pics of them. You'll have a sugar overload. LOL

I really like the house, the only draw back? I wish I made the kitchen a bit bigger.
